In The Field: MeFOTO Tripod Review #246

I’ve been trying out a MeFOTO tripod as a travel tripod. Everyone in my podcast circle seems to be talking about MeFOTO, so I needed to try it out. In this video, I'm using the Roadtrip Air tripod. In 2018, I added a Backpacker Air as a studio tripod.

Am I still using my Really Right Stuff? Oh YEAH! You can read my Really Right Stuff review here. I strongly prefer the RRS legs for harsher conditions, unstable ground, or any work in and around water. I continue to use the MeFOTO tripods to capture behind the scenes video.

It’s all gear on In The Field this week. Join me for a chat about two pieces of gear I’ve been working with recently. I’ve added a Capture Pro clip to my bag for easy access to a second camera. Check out The Gear Box to see more of the equipment I use to create my photos.
