I'm back with another unscripted post processing session. In another super-long video, I use Lightroom, ON1 Photo RAW and Aurora HDR to work on a photo from Arch Rock Overlook in Oregon. Different tools have different strengths and I pick and choose them to get the look I’m after.

Since this is a *long* video, here’s a few points of interest so you can pick and choose what’s interesting to you.

Lightroom

  • 01:15, Cropping
  • 02:50, Basic Adjustments
  • 06:30, Retouching (a lot of it!)
  • 12:15, Send to ON1 Photo RAW

ON1 Photo RAW

  • 12:45, More Spot Removal
  • 13:25, Dynamic Contrast
  • 14:10, Color Enhancer
  • 16:10, Local Adjustments
  • 17:50, Return to Lightroom

Aurora HDR

  • 19:00, Glow preset and tuning
  • 20:10, Luminosity Mask
  • 21:30, Detail Layer
  • 22:50, Gradient Layer
  • 23:30, Return to Lightroom

Wrap-up

  • 23:40, Tip Of The Week
