Crystal Pier, Pacific Beach
I spent a good chunk of the weekend migrating more photos from my Aperture library into Lightroom. On the one hand, it's dry work that doesn't excite the creative part of my brain. On the other hand, I get to revisit a lot of photos, like this one of Crystal Pier in the Pacific Beach neighborhood of San Diego.
My goal is to have all my photos migrated by the end of 2015. And I really gotta get it done. I'm holding off on any and all OS X upgrades (meaning no OS X Photos) until I finish. That's partially a carrot I've tied on the end of a stick for myself, and partial paranoia so any Aperture glitches in OS X updates don't cut me off from my photos. Progress is good, about 10,000 more photos to go.
