Aperture Metadata Presets Revisited

A few months ago, I posted how to use metadata presets and Places to tidy up incorrect IPTC City information. Recently, whilst perusing my Aperture library, I found photos that were completely missing IPTC City, State, and Country information. I'd found the data missing data in some older libraries, but thought the issue might be more wide spread.

A smart album to check for missing IPTC information

When I opened this smart album...sure enough, there were lots of photos with no information here. Apparently, my earlier import flow was not as mature as it is now. Aperture's Metadata Presets to the rescue! In my case, I'd geo-tagged the images previously, so leveraging Places let me fix up my images in reasonably short order. See the video for a run through of using the smart album, Places, and metadata presets to clean things up.
